PSAT/NMSQT

The PSAT/NMSQT is an optional exam for high-achieving juniors and sophomores. It measures verbal reasoning, critical reading, math problem solving, and writing skills important for success in college. Juniors are encouraged to take the PSAT because it identifies National Merit Scholars and enables students who score at the highest levels to qualify for college scholarships. Sophomores can take the PSAT as practice.

The PSAT can also be used as a predictor for SAT scores. It allows students to compare their academic skills with those of other college-bound students.

A.L. Brown High School is excited to offer families the ability to pay their exam fees online at the time of registration. Please be sure to have a credit card or debit card available before beginning registration.

Please contact Susan Monteith if you have questions.
